Another kick at that cat and no major malfunctions this time! Big motor was working properly, small motor (after I tore the carb and fuel pump apart) ran like a top and I actually had my downriggers with me this time!
I blasted up to Hungry for starters, quite a few fish marking on the north end against the cliffs but not so much as a bite. I did see 10 dead salmon floating about, guess their journey is over and more than likely the major run as well. From word around town, they are having trouble counting the fish up the Eagle, something in the 40,000 range!! From Hungry I moved out into the middle of the lake, usually good Laker fishing in the 400'+ area, but nothing, so, moved down to Murdock.
