*****A recent event has given me cause to write a bit of a dissertation on just what is meant by the above term "Dufus", to clarify for some who take it maybe to personally! While some who wear this "handle" should take it with a grain of salt, others should take it much more seriously, depending on the infraction I observed at the time. Recently someone chose to take it the wrong way and emailed me calling me a F-ing A-hole and a few other words, all the while forgetting it was them that was at fault and not me! I only observe and record what I see, I do not have time to chase people down on the lake to tell them what they've done wrong, that would no doubt lead to more problems with some of the idiots out there! If the offense is serious enough it will be reported to the appropriate authorities, there is however no law against being just plain ignorant or making a simple mistake such as driving over someone's line, just as there is no law against me taking a picture of them and labeling that person a Dufus!! Hey, you commit the crime you do the time, or in this case the handle Dufus. You know yourself if you did wrong, step up to the plate and take the heat, many do and get a chuckle out of it, those that really don't care just go on their way and will probably do the same thing over and over again, I can't prevent that. In any event, if you made an honest mistake and want to let me know about it then fine, I know people make mistakes, but don't think by using profanities in an email to me that the incident YOU caused is going to go away, learn by your mistake and move on, 'nuff said from the Captain!!!*****
