Sheldon, affectionately known as 'Capt. Poppy' by his family (and Blampa by his grandson Brett!), has been fishing practically his entire life, from the Interior out to the Coast, then up in Northern BC, down to the Kootenays and now back to the Thompson/Okanagan area.   Although an avid fly fisherman, he has now also turned to the Big Lakes of the Interior to put his fishing skills to work.  This doesn't mean the fly rod has been packed away though, and it is hoped that clients will want to try and fly fish the big lakes while out on these huge bodies of water, a much bigger challenge than the smaller lakes they are probably used to.  Sheldon will try and accommodate anglers to whatever type of fishing they prefer, as he has done it all!

Reel Fishing Adventures does primarily fishing but, if you so desire, you can also go ashore and explore the beautiful beaches or hiking trails that some of these lakes have to offer.  It has also been asked of us if we could just "drop" some of the crew off on a beach to tan while others stay out and fish, its your trip and we will do whatever we can to accommodate you!  For the kids especially, a quick shore lunch or wander down the beach can be a good change from the boat scene.  It gives "potty breaks" a whole new meaning!!
